Where can you get married in Como?
Rich in history, Como is one of those places that pluck the strings of the heart. Mostly thanks to its climate mitigated by the lake waters and its rich architecture, the city is one of the most longed-for destinations to say I do. The late-gothic Duomo with its square, the Basilica of San Fedele and the other churches are perfect for a Catholic ceremony. And for a Civil ceremony and wedding reception you will be just spoilt with choice, but remember it is better to reserve with much advance.
Wedding at Villa Aura
Within a short distance from Bellagio, this option stands out for being particularly versatile. Unlike other venues on the lake, it is possible to arrive to Villa Aura both by boat and by car. Imagine you are getting ashore by boat and the guests are ready to welcome you. And this is only one of the ingredients that the villa offers for your special day. The property has accomodation for your stay and areas for both a civil and non-Catholic religious ceremony.
Wedding at Villa Carlotta
Its architecture and spaces are ideal for big receptions. Here nature and architecture create a perfect blend. Its terrace garden is the real highlight and is ideal for the ceremony but can also be used to surprise your guests in a different way. Villa Balbiano
This is an exclusive wedding venue for up to 100 guests and is located in the heart of the small town Osuccio. Directly overlooking the lake and with a private boat access, it can also be easily reached by car. The perfectly trimmed gardens and lawns are the real highlight of the outdoor spaces, but internally the villa is no less extraordinary. The regal frescos of its rooms, the dreamlike covered pool and the suites all provide incredible symmetries that are perfect to inspire unique pictures.
Villa del Balbianello
This one of a kind venue, dating back to the 1700’s, can only be reached by boat. Arriving to the villa while enjoying the beauty of the landscape is the most exciting experience. The villa can host up to 150 guests for the wedding ceremony and reception.
